Meet Dr. Michelle Ireland
Chiropractic – A Family Tradition
“I grew up in the world of chiropractic. Both of my parents were chiropractors, so I learned from an early age how to live life healthier. I have received chiropractic adjustments all my life and I’ve done the same for my kids,” she shares. Dr. Michelle is a lifelong Alaskan who likes to stay active outdoors with her family. She loves to downhill ski and run year-round.
Becoming a Chiropractor
“Like my parents, I studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic, which is located in Davenport, Iowa,” Dr. Michelle says. Palmer is regarded as the birthplace of chiropractic, and its instructors were trained by chiropractic’s founding fathers. “I am honored to continue our family legacy of providing quality, chiropractic care to the great people of Alaska.”
In addition to being Certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Dr. Ireland is also Board Certified in Physiotherapy and has been licensed in the State of Alaska since 1998. Dr. Ireland is a proud member of both the Alaska Chiropractic Society and the American Chiropractic Association.
Living Better Through Chiropractic
Dr. Michelle’s commitment to living the “chiropractic way of life” of eating well, drinking pure water, exercising daily, getting enough restful sleep, owning a positive healthy attitude and receiving regular chiropractic adjustments has helped her and her family maintain excellent health. “Chiropractic care is a natural path to take towards wellness and is simply the best kept health secret,” she explains. “I enjoy sharing that lifestyle with my patients so they can live life better and healthier, with more motion and less pain.”
What about people who aren’t familiar with chiropractic or aren’t sure about how effective it can be in helping to relieve pain and enhance wellness?
“I like to help patients feel better and get back on track with wellness. I usually find people are looking for a little guidance to help them live better, work better, and have more energy to be with their children.”
“Sometimes it just takes time to educate patients about what chiropractic is and how it can make them feel. People are surprised how it can become part of their lives.”
“Whether you are unsure about chiropractic or have seen a chiropractor in the past, I’d love to talk with you about how I can help you feel your best.” Call the Ireland Clinic today at (907) 561-1222 and schedule your first appointment.
