Born and raised in Sauk Centre, a small town in central Minnesota, Dr. Egeland excelled in sports, and his interest in Chiropractic began. Dr. Egeland, along with his family members, knew the importance of regular Chiropractic care and made it a part of their healthy lifestyles. They felt Chiropractic care was responsible for their improved quality of life. As an athlete, Dr. Egeland found Chiropractic care both beneficial and essential in keeping him healthy and active. While in high school, Dr. Egeland received the Academic All State Wrestler Award and continued on to college, where twice he was a National Wrestling Qualifier. He was also an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Bettendorf High School for four years. Dr. Egeland continues to be active in sports and has won the Alaska State Judo Championship numerous times.
His desire to be a Chiropractor on the Ireland Clinic team and his appreciation for the outdoors brought him to Alaska, where he met his wife, Tiffany, who grew up in Talkeetna, Alaska. In 1995, Tiffany summited Mt. McKinley at the age of 15, making her the youngest girl ever to do so at that time. Dr. Egeland and Tiffany both enjoy fishing, hunting, mountain biking, climbing, and many other challenging adventures.
When asked why he became a Chiropractor, Dr. Egeland replies, "I always knew that I wanted to find a profession in the area of healthcare. I chose Chiropractic, because it is a field where I could work with athletes, as well as meet many wonderful people and provide them the help and spinal care they need. I felt Chiropractic was the profession which would enable me to make a difference and help people live a pain-free and active life."
Dr. Egeland is dedicated to providing high quality, personalized Chiropractic care which is essential for each patient to achieve optimal health. He is enthusiastic about helping patients realize their full potential by providing the Chiropractic care that is best suited to their individual lifestyle needs.
